FULLY AUTOMATIC CRYOSTAT MICROTOME (FACM-T-17)

(FACM-T-17) Fully automatic cryostat microtome is used for cutting Tissues at Low Temperature. Automatic Cryostat Microtome is supplied with high profile and low-profile blade holder and glass/ Perspex anti roll plate. Instrument cooling temperature with Peltier element cooling area is minus 40 degree Celsius +/- 5 degree for continuous cooling to prevent freezing.

·         Type of instruments: Freestanding cryostat with encapsulated, splash proof Rotary Microtome.
·         Type of microtome: Automatic microtome
·         Instrument is cooling based on dual compressor as well Peltier system
·         Instrument storage chucks on freezing shelf to store 10 +/- 5 chucks and motorized coarse feed with manual sectioning.
·         Operation of microtome: “electronically controlled motorized”
·        Coarse feed- slow:300µ/s, 20µ steps fast: 900µ/s.
·       Equipment has double compressor features to keep specimen frozen in case of power failure of cry o- bar
·       (Freezing station)
·       Instrument provided with proven method of disinfection such as formaldehyde fumigation/ UV or zone disinfection
·       of the cryochamber effective against commonly known pathogens
·       Instrument is floor standing cryostat with encapsulated, splash proof automated rotary microtome

·       Instrument with lateral movement of blade holder clamping and unclamping of blade.
·       Max specimen size: 55x55mm, 40×55mm with section thickness range is 1 to 100 micrometers
·       Instrument Chamber is bright white illumination light with temperature display
·       Section cutting via hand both manual and motorized automatic
·       Instrument has Fly wheels/ Rotary wheel locking is possible to avoid to the user
·       Provision of hand wheel: mechanical only 1 mechanical via electric brake.
·       Instrument with motorized rapid and coarse feed at speeds :300 micrometer/ sec for and 900 micrometer / sec
·       for rapid.
·       Chamber illumination light: bright white light
·       Trimming facility ranging from 10 +/- 5 micrometer to 600 micrometer
·       Instrument cooling temperature: minus 45±5 degree
·        It is automatic and manual chamber defrost facility with minimum one automatic defrost cycle per 24 hours
           and the duration of defrost cycle is 15 min or less
·       Section thickness range in: “1 to 100 1.0µm-0.5µm in 0.5µm step 5.0µm-20.0µm in 1.0µm steps 20.0µm-60.0µm in 5.0µm steps 60.0µm-100.0µm in 10.0µm steps”
